Sandrine Holt is the daughter of Sandrine Ho, who was born in London on 19 November 1972. Her parents are Chinese man as well as an French woman. At the age of five she was able to move to Toronto, Canada and has called it home ever since. She was a Parisian catwalk-model before she began her career as an actress. Her debut film was Annuka In Black Robe (1991). Her performance was rewarded with the Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar. The films Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer followed with guest performances for the roles of Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. John Woo's The Thief saw her appear in 22 of the episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was followed by Resident Evil Apocalypse in 2004. Both are available as DVDVHS. She was given a larger character in 24: Twenty Four, and Runaway. Holt's career began with appearances on TV as guest stars and in smaller films. Holt then took the role of a leader in Hostages, in 2013, and a secondary role in Netflix's House of Cards. The actress was the lead character Julie Han in the US remake of The Returned in 2015 and was cast as Dr. Bethany Exner cast.
