Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies began her acting profession at 12 through local casting calls. She began her acting career when she was 12 years of age. She started appearing in Virgin Mobile commercials. Gillies got her first television appearance as a character for three episodes of The Black Donnellys. Gillies has said that she was not permitted to watch the final show as a whole because her parents thought the show was inappropriate for her at the time. (citation needed) She played little roles in The Clique Harold as well as Locker 504 throughout 2008. The summer before, Ariana, who would then appear in Victorious alongside her, was chosen to play alongside her in Lucy in an Goodspeed Production from Jason Robert Brown's 13 musical. Later that year, the Broadway rendition of 13 was out, and became the first Broadway show to feature all cast members comprised of teens. Gillies was also given the major number "Opportunity," "It Can't be True" as well as other numbers such as "Hey Kendra,"" "Getting Ready" and many more. Gillies was part of the show through January 4 the 4th of January, 2009.
